The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is reponsible for making accurate time available across the UK. This clock picks up NPL's radio signal, called MSF, from a location in Cumbria. This transmission carries a date and time code that radio controlled clocks use to set themselves to the correct time. This clock is controlled by the MSF signal which is synchronised to the national time scale at NPL, making it 'forever accurate'.

The receiver unit retains the minimum and maximum temperatures and relative humidity readings measured at various locations. The 433 MHz technology means no wire installation is required and you can place the sensors anywhere you like.
